HERE I AM

Welcome to my food blog! My name is Le Thi My Linh but I prefer if you call me "Bell". I am currently 21 year-old. I was born and grew up in a very beautiful country: Viet Nam.
To talk a little bit about myself, I would say that I am a introverted and moody person, all I can do is always separating and forgetting the connections. Although I know it is not a happy action, I got some difficulties in communicating with others but I am also a human being who have a warm heart and need the love.
Recently, I have been a Culinary Management student from George Brown College due to the interest in working in the hospitality industry that I have chosen to be a chef. In fact, it's not a strong reason to lead me here. The one reason can only come from my family, they are all my idols who were inspired me to feel like I am connected to the universe. They brought me to a new world where I could feel free to creat my own happiness, it's cooking.
Before I left Viet Nam, I have helped my family's restaurant a lots . I can work steadily any position in restaurant excepted being a chef. Sometimes I do in commit position which I can improve a lot of cutting skills, sometimes be in waitress, dishwasher or even cleaner. I found many interesting in the hospitality industry, especially in my first tip, I served and cooked a small table of foreign visitors approximately 9 years ago. They were so surprised in vietnamese food and have love much since they came to our restaurant. We still kept in touch and I appreciated for that.
Many people asked me why I did not take over my family's business that came Canada to study a chef.
In my mine, if I follow those things that people said, I think my life will be so boring. Taking over and doing one stable job from now until the rest of my life, I could not imagine how it will be. Whereas, I am a person who love food and am getting madly in love with cooking. I think I can deal with everything well than my family did. They gave me inspiration which is the best gift I have ever had and my role is helping our system more modern and getting better in the future because I know that ours is old-fashioned and in 10 next years, It may be dissapeared.

Therefore, rightnow it's a great chance for me to fulfill my passion which I always dream of every single night. I am awareness that becoming a chef is not a easy road, especially for a lady like me. I heard from someone else that the chefs do have no days off even weekdays or holidays, people go out and enjoy their life, chefs have to work much harder. For me, it does not matter, more time I work, much better I am​Everyday the chefs can be also faced off a dozen of jobs in the kitchen such as setting up menu, playing with firer, managing ingredients, and working with one hundred percents of their strength​ that I love the most. Besides that I am also an empathetic and conscientious person, ready for learning new things,and not hesitate to face challenges as long as It's my interested fields. Yes, Here I am, once again.

Writing this blog will bring both you(foodlover) and me(food maker) much closer with each other. I can share what's interesting thing I have ever done in cooking, telling you some tips in cooking, providing the recipes which you are looking for. Furthermore, I will share with you all things I met difficulties in the hospitality Industry as well.

I love cooking but I am too young to create my own recipes, I always follow http://www.laurainthekitchen.com to cook. It's the best and easiest to find many kinds of food that I like. This page was designed basing on Intalian-American recipes by the clear and smart ways with the full of ingredient lists, methods, tools as well as attached links, videos will teach directly as in the real kitchen. The chef is such a very nice and cool girl, in the ends of each video, she always tests taste of food. Sometimes she decribes what she feels, made me drool. Her chanel is impressed.
However, It contains a lot of advertisement, I dont feel really comfortable when she does her own business popularily. The page still does not attract viewers. It seems like a little bit empty. Actually, I am fond of her channel more than her blog.
One day I wish I can be a famous blogger and give my viewers the most interesting things ever. All of my blog will start from the reality and I won't use my blog as a tool to build my own business.
